This feature allows you to quickly and seamlessly share contact details with your chat contacts. Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Access Contact Sharing
Open the Secure Chat application and navigate to the chat conversation where you want to share a contact.
Step 2: Initiate Contact Sharing
Within the chat conversation, tap on the contact sharing icon, typically represented by a contact card or sharing icon.
Step 3: Select Contact
The system prompts you to select a contact from your saved contacts list. Choose the contact you want to share.
Step 4: Confirm Sharing
After selecting the contact, the system displays the contact's details for your review. Confirm the contact details you wish to share.
Step 5: Share Contact
Tap the "Share" button to send the contact's details to the specified contact in the chat conversation.
Extensions:
Share Contact During Active Chat
If you're already in an active chat conversation and decide to share a contact, the system prompts you to select a contact. After selecting a contact, the system may ask you to validate or approve the contact sharing before proceeding.
Share Contact from Contact Details Screen
If you're not in a chat screen and want to share a contact, open the contact details screen of the desired contact. From there, the system prompts you to select a contact to share.
Sharing PGP Contacts
Please note that you cannot share a PGP contact using this feature.
